Under Construction:

SolTerra HQPAMPLIN MEDIA GROUP: CRAIG BOLLEN - The ground floor will have a 1,000 square foot commercial space and an eight-space garage reserved for SolTerra fleet vehicles.

Design and development: SolTerra Systems

The new headquarters of SolTerra Systems, a 34,000 square foot building with five floors, is slated to be the tallest on the west coast built with sustainable, insulated concrete forms. It is designed to be LEED Platinum, with a green roof and low-flow plumbing.

Soon to be one of the healthiest office environments in Portland, it is the first enrolled in the Energy Trust of Oregon's "Path to net zero" program. Features include 33 solar panels, 4,500 square feet of vegetated eco-roof, native landscaping with more than 1,100 square feet of living walls and 70 percent energy use reduction from typical construction designed to meet the 2030 Challenge.

From the team that built the Cosmopolitan on the Park, Vista Pearl (formerly Block 20) is a 21-floor tower with plans that include 149 residential condos with two small retail spaces along Northwest 12th and Pettygrove Street.

Under Construction:

Canopy by HiltonPAMPLIN MEDIA GROUP: CRAIG BOLLEN - The hotel is located on a quarter block site adjacent to the cross-laminated timber high-rise construction site, Framework.

This new 11-story hotel is planned to have 153 rooms at Ninth and Glisan, next to the site for Framework, the cross-laminated timber building. The quarter-block site, previously home to a 1938 warehouse that was demolished in June 2016, will include a ground-level cafe, bar and lobby with outdoor seating and a basement winter garden.

Completion is slated for late 2017.
