The MCC donates $10,000 to support a variety of programs at the Molalla Adult Community Center

At the monthly meeting of the MACC, Molalla Communications made a special financial gift to the organization.

The morning of Dec. 20 the Molalla Adult Community Center had its monthly breakfast and MCC Board Chairman Marci Marsh and Board Secretary Lorraine Peters were on hand to present a $10,000 check to MACC to help support vital programs such as Meals on Wheels, education and additional services.

"The sustainability of the Molalla Adult Community Center looks wildly different because of the support that Molalla Communications has given the Center," said Cecily Rose, director of the Molalla Adult Community Center. ""We are so grateful for their support that will help over 1,500 residents each year in our community. This help varies by programs and includes things like, Meals on Wheels, transportation for the home-bound, health education, and more.

"The Molalla Adult Center and the services offered are a very important part of our community. MCC is happy to continue our support of the adult center and the great work they accomplish," said Marsh.
