Portland events: Check out CoHo's 'The Way You Made Me'
Some upcoming events to put on your radar:
• At ilani Casino Resort in Ridgefield, Washington, the O'Jays play on their "Last Stop On The Love Train" tour, 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15. They'll likely perform "Love Train," "Put Your Hands Together," "For The Love of Money" and "I Love Music," and their first No. 1 single "Backstabbers," in the show at Cowlitz Ballroom. It's the final tour for the O'Jays, which include original members Eddie Levert Sr. and Walter Williams Sr.

• Reminder: By CoHo Productions and Devon Roberts Presents, "The Way You Made Me," written by Lindsay Partain, addresses home, love and belonging, and it'll stage 7:30 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays, 2 p.m. Sundays, through Dec. 18 at CoHo Theater.
The story: Using her trauma as a jumping-off point toward creating a better home for herself and family, Imogen (Becca Baugh) shares her gift of words with an unseen lover. As she unpacks boxes and herself, Imogen recounts through love letters how she discovered happiness despite a life of neglect.
