Portland's Metropolitan Explosive Disposal Unit removed several explosive devices from a Southeast Portland business parking lot Wednesday afternoon in what police are calling an isolated incident.
The devices were discovered at about 4 p.m., Aug. 9, in the parking lot of Whistle Stop Trains, 11724 S.E. Division St., which sells model trains. Police stopped traffic on Division Street between Southeast 115th and 119th avenues.
The streets were reopened at about 5:14 p.m.
The explosive disposal unit said the devices were "rendered safe." Investigators believed that it was an isolated incident and "there is no danger to the community."
