Jose Antonio Caraballo, 43, has been charged with second degree murder (domestic violence). Police believe he had fled the area. He is known to have associates in Oregon, California and Mexico.

Caraballo has extensive tattoos. Anyone who sees him or believes they have information that could lead to his arrest is asked to immediately call 911. Crime Stoppers of Oregon is offering cash rewards of up to $2,500 for information that leads to his arrest or an arrest in any unsolved felony crime. Tipsters can remain anonymous.

The investigation began at 3:16 p.m. on Dec. 9 when East Precinct officers were dispatched to a report of a person found deceased in the park at 16160 S.E. Powell Blvd. When officers arrived, they located a deceased person. Due to suspicious circumstances, homicide detectives responded to the scene to investigate.

The medical examiner determined the manner and cause of death to be homicide by homicidal violence.
