This week features the Pearl's waterfront, the Canopy by Hilton and the Worldmark by Wyndham

Under Construction:

Worldmark by WyndhamPAMPLIN MEDIA GROUP: JULES ROGERS - Before going ahead with plans, the Worldmark was first submitted for Historic Resource Review because its in the Skidmore Old Town area. Previously, the site was a surface parking lot.

This new six-story building has plans for 75 units of vacation ownership. The plans are for five-over-one construction, with retail space on the ground floor fronting along Naito Parkway. Units will be a mix of studios and one- and two-bedrooms. Plans include a second-floor terrace with onsite stormwater treatment. In total, the 67,000 square-foot building will be 70 feet tall.

Under Construction:

Canopy by HiltonPAMPLIN MEDIA GROUP: JULES ROGERS - This 11-story hotel is adjacent to Framework, made from cross-laminated timber.

Contractor: Bremik Construction

This new 11-story hotel is planned to have 153 rooms at Ninth and Glisan, next to the site for Framework, the cross-laminated timber building. The quarter-block site, previously home to a 1938 warehouse that was demolished in June, will include a ground-level cafe, bar and lobby with outdoor seating and a basement winter garden, along with 2,800 square feet of event space.

Completion is slated for late 2017.
