Get your summer garden ready with help from Beaverton Farmers Market
As the weather warms up, we are starting to see more and more early-summer fruits and vegetables. Over the next few weeks, get ready to see the colorful bounty of fresh produce from our farmers. Think of all the delicious, nutritious, sun-kissed crops ready for your dinner table.
For our gardeners, it's time to consider your suburban summer garden: flower, plant and vegetable starts are now on sale and we have the perfect hanging baskets to brighten up your home. Let us help you find what you are looking for and maybe a few extras. Late May/early June is the time to get your plants in-ground.
We see hundreds of families at the market each week and we pride ourselves on being family-centric. This year, we added a new feature at the market-Kiddo Care-a cozy, shaded tent with chairs for nursing moms and a changing table for your baby. Moms shouldn't have to 'make do' with changing their baby on any flat surface or nurse while standing up or in the back of a car. So moms, listen up! We have a special, comfortable place to take care of your precious baby. Stop by Kiddo Care, moms, it's just for you.
Since 1988, we have been bringing farmers, artisans, chefs and artists together to share their wares and a smile. Open 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturdays May through September. Be sure to like us on Facebook @beavertonfarmersmarket, too. See you at the market!
