Police seek information on serial robber
The Beaverton Police Department is asking for the community's help in identifying and locating a serial robbery suspect.
This suspect has struck twice in Beaverton, once in Tigard, once in Washington County and once in Portland between Nov. 15 and Dec. 29, 2017.
The first robbery in Beaverton was at the Breeze Cafe, 14314 S.W. Allen Blvd. on Wednesday, Nov. 15. During the robbery, the suspect wore a camo hooded sweatshirt, orange baseball hat, blue jeans, black shoes, black colored gloves and displayed a handgun in his waistband.
The second robbery in Beaverton was at the Richard's Deli, 6155 S.W. Murray Blvd. on Friday, Dec. 22. During this robbery, the suspect was wearing camo pants, green jacket with tan-colored shoulders, a black/white stocking hat, black ski-mask-type face covering, gloves and displayed a handgun in his waistband.
Other locations in which he is suspected of having committed crimes are: Bulldog Deli, 7321 S.W. Garden Home Road, Portland; Tan Republic, 14250 S.W. Barrow Road, Tigard, and UU Yogurt, 8108 S.W. Beaverton Hillsdale Highway in Washington County.
The suspect did not commit a robbery at Tan Republic. Investigators believe he might have been "spooked" and left.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 years of age.
The Beaverton Police Department wrote, "We hope that someone will recognize this clothing and a person who they have seen wearing it," in a press release.
