The Tualatin High School Theatre department is about to open its first non-musical of the season – "Lend Me A Tenor!" Performances are set for March 7 through at Tualatin High School Theatre.
The show by Ken Ludwig (and directed by Jean Hunter Tindle) is set in 1934 Cleveland and follows the adventures (and misadventures of the greatest tenor of his generation, a man known as Il Stupendo. When the star arrives late, a series of mishaps makes him unable to perform.
"Lend Me A Tenor!" features the acting skills of eight Tualatin High School actors along with a large crew of tech students who have really challenged themselves to build dresses from scratch, create sound designs and build the theater's trickiest set yet.
Performances are as follows: March 7 at 7:30 p.m., March 8 features a pay-what-you -will performance at 3:30 p.m. and a regular 7:30 p.m. performance; and March 9, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Visit Tualatin High School Theatre Facebook page for more information.
