MORE STORIES

Not only do we live in a community where the local businesses frequently take part in contributing their time, money or both to helping our neighbors in need, but customers do as well!

Here at Gresham Ford, we have been honored to be a part of some HUGE efforts by one of our customers, Jeremy Killian and son Jordan of Tiny Innovations working along side Weathered Hands Charity to bring brand new warm coats to those in need here in East County! They gathered over 2,000 coats and they brought 500 of them to us to distribute to SnowCap Community Charities, 104.5 WAY-FM and Birch Community Services! The shouts of joy on the other end of the phone when we called to tell them we had coats, was priceless!!

Weathered Hands has been helping the homeless in the Portland/Vancouver area since 2001 and has a tradition every Christmas Eve morning to deliver care packages to local shelters and the homeless. This year their goal was 3,500! If you'd like more information about them and the work they do, please visit www.weatheredhands.org.

And Jeremy from Tiny Innovations took his time and his own personal vehicle, loaded up boxes and boxes of coats and made numerous trips to bring them to us! He may create tiny homes, but he definitely has a huge, huge heart! Look them up at innovatetiny.com or give them a call at 503-912-3696 and let them know you heard how they helped keep some people warm this winter!

And now looking to 2019, there's so much to do! Let's get to it! Working together we CAN make a difference!
