Plympton opened with a 10-4 decision over Stayton senior Garret Sandefur, clinging to a one-point lead heading into the third period before sealing the victory with a quick reversal and near fall.

He followed that up with a third-period pin over Phoenix senior Elijah Galatioto in the quarterfinals.

After falling to the No. 2 seed in Saturday morning's semifinals, he bounced with a pair of consolation wins, including a 13-10 decision over Tillamook's Antonio Chacon in the third-place match.
