May 2 (7 p.m.) — Oregon Trivia at Willamette Ale & Cider House, 1720 Willamette Falls Drive, West Linn. All ages welcome. Event runs until approximately 8:30 p.m.

Continuing through June 9 — Lakewood Theatre Company presents "Singin' in the Rain" at Lakewood Center for the Arts, 368 S. State St., Lake Oswego. For tickets and show times visit or call the box office at 503-635-3901.

May 3, 4, 5 — Lake Area Artists Show and Sale at Lakewood Center for the Arts, 368 S. State St., Lake Oswego. Includes original art made by 40 area artists. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Receptions Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Free admission.

Northwest Childrens Theater presents Tenali the Royal Trickster through May 12.

Continuing through May 12 — Northwest Children's Theater and School presents "Tenali The Royal Trickster" at 1819 NW Everett St. Portland. Shows at noon and 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Visit or call 503-222-2190.

May 3 (5 to 7 p.m.) — First Friday reception for The Art of Quilting at the Arts Council of Lake Oswego's ARTspace Gallery, 510 First St., Lake Oswego. Meet the artists and enjoy appetizers and beverages. Free. Exhibit continues through June 14.

May 5 (4 p.m.) — Listen to the music of Rock Voices at Lake Oswego High School, 2500 Country Club Road, Lake Oswego. Rock Voices is a non-audition singing group for adults of all ages. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $8 for students at the door or by calling Rachel Plasse at 617-877-5606. Proceeds benefit Clackamas Women's Services.

May 5 (7:30 p.m.) — Lake Oswego Millennium Concert Band concert at Lakeridge High School Auditorium, 1235 Overlook Drive, Lake Oswego. Free admission. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

May 6 — Opening of "After the Election," art by Mark Randall at Lakewood Center Entryway Gallery, 368 S. State St., Lake Oswego. Exhibit can be viewed through June 10. Free.

May 6 (7:30 p.m.) — Fear No Music presents "Japanarama: The Ongoing Influence of Japanese Culture" at the Old Church Concert Hall in downtown Portland. Concert features Fear No Music and Portland Taiko. Tickets can be purchased online at
