Slideshow: Festival of the Arts delights in 56th year
The 56th annual Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts went off without a hitch this past weekend, with attendees enjoying mild weather and an array of special exhibits, presentations, concerts and activities for all ages.
The special exhibit this year, "Origin Stories: Comics and Identity," was curated by Andrea Gilroy and assistant Katie Proctor, and focused on the unique formal qualities of comics as a medium.
The festival, which is organized by the Lakewood Center for the Arts, also featured Art in the Park at George Rogers Park, an array of other exhibits and plenty of live music.
