Victor Wesley JohnsonVic died in the hospital in Bend, OR while

camping at one of his favorite RV parks

in Bend. He drove himself to a clinic

where was transported a local hospital and suffered

a massive stroke. He had been camping for over

20 years since retiring and was on his 3rd RV. His

driver's license listed his address as "Continuous

Traveler". He took his grandkids on many trips

during their spring and summer vacations and loved

spending time with them and more recently visiting

his 3 great grandkids. He would travel down south

in the winter for the warm weather and spend spring

and summer in Oregon visiting family and friends.

He was a longtime Oregon State Beaver fan, a

Portland Trailblazer fan since their beginning and

was at the game when they won the championship.

He liked going places where he could people

watch like the Sturgis motorcycle rally with over

500,000 people and to the Burning Man Festival.

He traveled to many different countries around the

world with a friend he had since school days. At

one time his bucket list was big but he had done

almost everything on it. Vic was born and raised

on a farm and most his working years he worked at

a farm supply store and still had a great interest in

farming. Those who knew him will agree he lived

every day to the fullest and will be missed. Vic is

survived by his kids Darren Johnson and Shelly

Irish, 4 grandkids and 3 great grandkids and all 3

of his sisters. Please join us for a celebration of life

on 10/13/2018 at Heidi's restaurant in Gresham, OR

from 2:30- 5:30 in the conference room.
