'Sense & Sensibility'
Portland Center Stage brings Kate Hamill's hit adaptation of Jane Austen's classic book to Portland. Presented by Bedlam theater company, it combines a traditional regency setting with a fast-paced, kinetic, theaterical staging that fills Austen's iconic romance with warmth, wheels and some surprises. Eric Tucker directs, and it stars Portland favorites Danea C. Osseni as Elinor Dashwood and Quinlan Fitzgerald as Marianne Dashwood. Previews begin Jan. 12.
