'Menopause The Musical'
The winner of 44 Tony Awards, the musical is a groundbreaking celebration of women who are on the brink of, in the middle of, or have survived "The Change." Ten Grands on the Diamond
The event brings together 10 pianists playing 10 pianos at Ron Tonkin Field, 4460 N.E. Century Blvd. in Hillsboro, 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10. It was formerly called Ten Grands on the Green, and it's a spinoff event of Michael Allen Harrison's Ten Grands and a fundraiser for his Snowman Foundation and the Rotary Club of Tigard Foundation. Providence Bridge Pedal
Bicyclists hit the Portland streets, and any and all of the city's bridges, in the annual event, which starts at 7 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11. The Fremont Express includes a trip over the Fremont Bridge and a light breakfast.
