State's solar trade group gets new leader
Oregon's solar industry has picked a new leader for its trade group.
Angela Crowley-Koch is the newly named executive director of the Oregon Solar Energy Industry Association, often known as OSEIA.
Crowley-Koch has worked the last six years as the legislative director for the Oregon Environmental Council. While there she worked on the Toxic-Free Kids Act, renewing the Clean Fuels Program and getting Oregon to halt use of coal power.
Before that, Crowley-Koch was a legislative assistant to U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley, D-Oregon.
Among her tasks will be lobbying for the solar industry at the 2019 Oregon legislative session.
The trade group had been led by an interim executive director for several months since the departure of Jeff Bissonnette.
