The event includes amateur sports car racing, high-speed spectator rides in exotic and racing cars, and a silent auction. Admission to the event is free, and the club encourages everyone to attend.

The recurring fundraising event includes amateur sports car racing, high-speed spectator rides in exotic and racing cars, and a silent auction.

Leading the attractions at the Dash for Kids is the annual racecar ride lineup.

During the lunch hour on both Saturday and Sunday, Cascade racers offer up their time and cars to provide rides to spectators and children in exchange for a donation to the charity fund. Each ride is approximately two laps around PIR.

Riders may choose exotic sports cars such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, or Porsche or an actual racecar. The requested donation starts at $30, but varies based on the car type. Children 40 inches and taller are eligible for rides.

In addition to the racing and track rides, there's a silent auction of donated goods. Many of the items in the auction are one-of-a-kind racing-related memorabilia, but there are also vouchers for area hotels and restaurants and many hand-made items at all price points.

This year's beneficiaries include Take Action INC of Portland and the Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Take Action INC serves low-income children and families throughout the Portland metro, Salem-Keizer and Woodburn areas. As of March 2019 TAI is serving 71 schools and over 3000 children either directly or indirectly. Cascade Sports Car Club has been supporting Doernbecher hospital for 34 years.

Cascade's Dash for Kids is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. Look for signs directing spectators into PIR for parking.

PIR is located at 1940 N, Victory Blvd. You can find more information here.
