Mario Andretti and Adam Carolla to appear at World of Speed on Aug. 30
Legendary racing driver Mario Andretti and TV personality Adam Carolla will host an evening at World of Speed Motorsports Museum at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, August 30. The event centers around a live podcast taping of the popular CarCast program co-hosted by Carolla and Matt "The Motorator" D'Andria.
The museum has featured a display on Andretti's long and successful career since March of this year. The exhibit is timed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Andretti's win at the 1969 Indianapolis 500. Carolla and D'Andria will interview Andretti about his career in front of the live audience in Wilsonville.
"It is a real privilege and a great honor to have someone of Mario's caliber, as a person and a driver, here at the Museum," says Ron Huegli, Museum Curator. "Also, having a celebrity like Adam Carolla at the Museum is a thrill, especially since he is a true car guy."
Tickets to the event are $40 each and are on sale now through the museum's website: www.worldofspeed.org/carcast.
