Free electric vehicle test drives with a Halloween theme are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the field office of Forth, an EV advocacy group, on Thursday, Oct. 31.
The office is located at 2035 N.W. First Ave. in Portland. Participants are encouraged to dress in costumes, and free refreshments and snacks will be available.
Cars available for test drives include a plug-in hybrid Mitsubishi Outlander and an all-electric Chevy Bolt and Nissan LEAF.
Forth will also host an e-scooter workshop from noon to 2 p.m.
The first 10 test drivers get a Commissary Cafe gift card. There will also be a raffle for a free one-month pass and water bottle for Formula 3. Other gifts will include Chinook Books, Keen Shoe cards, scooter and bike helmets and more
Test drives are first-come, first-served. Drivers must be over 21 and show a valid driver's license to test drive a vehicle.
