WLHS hosts free summer camp
West Linn High School is hosting a week-long summer day camp July 22-26 and July 29-Aug. 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for incoming eighth and ninth graders. This camp is an Oregon Department of Education grant requirement to encourage the teaching of career and technical skills. The camp is free and will include drones, virtual reality and more science, technology, engineering and mathematics activities. To register online, visit http://bit.ly/2UPln7I.

School planning panel has three vacant seats
The Long Range Planning Committee has three positions on its seven-member committee that expire June 30. The school board opened the three positions April 22 for interested community members. Positions 2, 4 and 6 are now open. Term lengths are three years and current members can reapply.
