West Linn High School raffles off Disney Park Hopper Passes, students receive scholarships and more

Get your Disney Park Hopper Pass

To support West Linn High School's music program, staff are auctioning 20 Disney Park Hopper Pass that allows people access to more than one park per day at Disneyland, including Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and Disney Epcot.

Raffle tickets to win one of the five sets of four tickets will be $5. Those outside the community are welcome to participate.

There will be a link on the high school's website and raffle tickets also will be sold at the final music concerts near the end of May. The drawing for the raffle items will be May 31.

Congratulations, San Jose State student

Rachael Hyde of West Linn was inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi at San Jose State University.

Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by the chapter.

Only the top 10% of seniors and 7.5% of juniors are eligible for membership. Graduate students in the top 10% may also qualify.

Art students receive scholarships

During the Clackamas Education Service District Art Show May 1, Wilsonville High School students Eleanor Karrick and Wren Perrote were two of five Clackamas County high school seniors selected to win a $20,000 scholarship from the Pacific Northwest College of Art for their work.

The five students also were awarded with a One River Art School — an art school in Lake Oswego — Group Exhibition and one hour of group exhibition mentoring.

Rosemont Ridge Middle School student Jesika Conner won the Jurors Choice Middle School Award and received two months of instruction and one week of summer camp from One River School, along with a Georgie's Ceramic & Clay gift card.
