WL-WV School District constructs safer, more equitable schools
Though school has been out for nearly a month, activity at West Linn-Wilsonville schools has yet to cease. The WL-WV School District has spent more than 94% of its 2014 bond funds and has been busy completing summer projects. The new track at Inza R. Wood Middle School is in the process of being placed, improved gym lighting at Willamette Primary has been installed and the Boeckman Creek Primary playground equipment has also been installed and new classroom portables are under construction.
Most projects at West Linn High School, including new performance lighting, tennis court updates and new bleachers in the main gym, have been completed. The construction of a new music room at Bolton Primary should be finished by the start of the 2019-20 school year, and softball field lighting at Wilsonville High School will be delayed and completed before softball season in 2020.
