Ode to West Linn's Alice
West Linn's Willamette Park was filled Thursday night with locals coming together to celebrate our nation's birthday.
The highlight of the evening was the 20 minute fireworks display made possible by the work of community volunteer Alice Richmond. She, along with the help of Julie and Mark Parrish and many others, again provided the community with wonderful community event and a free fireworks display.
Special thanks to the financial support of many local businesses, who because of Alice's polite persistence, stepped up to make this event possible.
In our attempt to thank Alice for her work, we present a short slideshow of her fireworks. Click the link below to see these images. Please thank her when you see her in Safeway to let her know that her efforts are appreciated.
